Astounding but true! According to multiple studies, upwards of 12 million Americans, or 4 percent of the population, believe that the world is secretly run by shape-shifting lizards from outer space! That’s more than the total population of U.S. Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Mormons, and millions more than the 4-8 million estimated U.S. Jewish population.
SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION
“This is classic,” I thought. This guy was the poster child for the usual type of person who rages against Scientology. You’ve met this type in your own life. Ignorant, smug, self-satisfied, self-aggrandizing, self-deluded, in a constant search for anything and anyone to hate and belittle, thinking it will somehow make them look good.
TOLERANCE
So you were right all along. All that “no man is an island” stuff is true, after all. You bother me or yell at me or snub me, and the world changes for the worse. I do something bad to you and we ALL get irked on some level.

It’s almost like Disney wants to attack my religion. I mean, it claims to uphold “values of inclusion, tolerance, and civility” but forgets what is “indefensible and inconsistent” with those values when it comes to someone’s church.

Man’s entire history has, to a large degree, centered on the question of God. Wars have been fought, families torn apart, entire groups of people persecuted all because of how they worshiped or believed in God.

Even the cynical staff at Disney and A&E would recognize that they had gone too far if Remini attacked their church, their beliefs, or the school that their children attended.

This lawyer wanted my friend to make a generalization about two groups of people rather than allow her to judge the case by the individuals concerned.
