Equal rights are enshrined in the very first line of the Creed of the Church of Scientology, which reads: “We of the Church believe that all men of whatever race, color or creed were created with equal rights.”
Further, Scientologists pledge: “To embrace the policy of equal justice for all,” “To decry and do all I can to abolish any and all abuses against life and Mankind” and “To support true humanitarian endeavors in the fields of human rights.”
That is why Scientologists have for decades dedicated themselves to fighting for equality and dignity across the globe—championing children’s rights, defending patient rights, advancing civil rights and upholding human rights for all.
Accordingly, Scientologists support the world’s largest nongovernmental education and public information initiative on human rights, United for Human Rights, and its companion program, Youth for Human Rights, which broadly publicize the 30 Articles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
