Watching the show for the first time, my reaction was utter disgust… like what I imagine a Jew might feel after stumbling upon an Internet hate group’s claims of Jews eating babies. Yes, I see the show as that absurd and ridiculous.

Dear Mr. Yellen,
After reading online that you personally wrote birthday cards to each of your 7,700+ employees, it occurred to me that perhaps you might respond to a sincere letter from a stranger. I’m a Scientologist, and my concern is that you’ve chosen to fund, via IPC, a third season of Leah Remini’s anti-Scientology television program on A&E.
The show consists entirely of a handful of disgraced apostates making bizarre claims, which I see as nothing less than a desperate effort on their part to justify their own misdeeds. I’m reminded of the cheating spouse, talking about their former mate, after the divorce.
In my more than 50 years of being associated with Scientology, I’ve never seen anything even remotely resembling what Remini passes off as common Scientology practices… quite the opposite in fact.
Watching the show for the first time, my reaction was utter disgust… like what I imagine a Jew might feel after stumbling upon an Internet hate group’s claims of Jews eating babies. Yes, I see the show as that absurd and ridiculous.
Perhaps what you know of Scientology has come entirely from media sources more concerned with “clicks” or ad revenues than with truth. In any case, I urge you to visit www.scientology.tv and browse the material you’ll find there. It will take you but a few hours to get a thorough overview of Scientology… who we are, what we believe, and most importantly, what we do. I’m quite certain, if you were to do so, your support of Ms. Remini’s little hate-fest would come to an abrupt halt.
Sincerely,
Jim Kalergis
