As the number of hate crimes rises in Southern California, the LAPD has made it easier for the community to report incidents of hate.

Of the hate crimes reported, 18.1 percent—over 2,000—were motivated by religious bias.

All told, the toolkit provides 40 examples of how communities successfully built bridges of understanding.
