Shame on Mr. Bobby Fischer.

His article titled “Prince Harry’s Drinking And Partying Get Totally Out of Hand - He’s On His Way To Rehab!” includes a purposely false and derogatory mention of the Scientology religion.

Such a cheap shot made out of left field shows that he knows nothing about Scientology or its belief system. Imagine someone giving a completely uninformed and inaccurate description of what Catholics or Jews believe with a statement “…it involves getting locked in the dungeon and being brainwashed into submission. Oh wait, I’m thinking of Catholicism or Jews.”

In truth, this is pure bigotry.

The web page of the United States Department of Justice dealing with religious freedom doesn’t say, “Protecting the Religious Freedom of All, Except Scientology.” It states, “Protecting the Religious Freedom of All.” It is all inclusive because that is the overriding all-embracing principle at the heart of our democracy.

Bigotry of any kind has no place in society.
