I am shocked that you would try to create hatred and a web of lies that will only lead to discrimination against Scientologists and their children.

Dear Mr. Harris,
I have been in Scientology for 39 years and have raised all three of my children by successfully using the principles of the Scientology religion.
I’m very close with my kids, who are all now grown and leading successful lives, and we have always been very open with each other. None of my children was ever forced to partake in Scientology and they all embraced the religion completely on their own terms. Any courses that they did, or counseling they received, were done with my full knowledge and consent, and one for one always improved their lives.
I never observed, was told, or even heard of any parent or child being forced to do any courses or counseling that was not of their choosing. I am even more shocked of the allegations regarding sexual bullbait or innuendos occurring in courses or counseling as this couldn’t be further from the truth and would go against the most basic moral and ethical tenets of the Scientology religion.
Scientology has helped not only me and my family but millions of others around the world, and I am shocked that you would try to create hatred and a web of lies that will only lead to discrimination against Scientologists and their children. You should be ashamed of your despicable level of ethics as a media outlet. You have chosen to further lies, hatred, and false propaganda instead of telling the truth—something the general public has long lost faith in finding in your organization.
