Planned show concerning Scientology

Dear Mr. Harris,

It appears that you are proposing an exposé of the Scientology religion and its treatment of children. There is a rumor that you intend to show this subject in a false negative light.

I am the proud parent of four wonderful girls all of whom were raised by my wife and me to be exemplary Scientologists and citizens of the United States and the world. The youngest is now 26, fully grown and educated in our religion.

You should know certain facts from those who would know, namely parents themselves. Nothing in Scientology works if it is enforced, ever. So any attempt by a parent to force their children into the religion fails miserably. One cannot take a religious philosophy that promotes morals and ethical behavior and succeed in arbitrarily using it on one’s children. Trust me I know!

The world at large, simply watch your own programs, is full of unethical and immoral behavior. Drugs, sexual abuse and criminality is rampant and often lauded on your network and is why the church of Scientology’s stance on drug-abuse and immoral behavior is especially important to me.

Any time my children were studying and/or being counseled in the religion we, the parents, were fully informed and the procedure was completely transparent and above board. Again, this specific religion cannot function otherwise!

Please do your homework and research in truth. Seek information from those who would know about children and the religion of Scientology, the parents.
