How come you permit A&E to carry such a single-sided monologue disparaging innocent people, all with the purpose of “brainwashing” them from their chosen faith?

To the Executives of Walt Disney,
As I am sure you are aware, A&E Networks, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, is currently airing a series that persecutes a modern American religion—Scientology—through its airing of the Leah Remini Aftermath television reality series.
By condoning this act, albeit by a subsidiary of a subsidiary company (ABC), you lend your name to and stand for a company which commits a gross encroachment upon the sensibilities of law-abiding American citizens.
Leah Remini is an obsessed and hate-filled bigot. One look at her unconstrained outbursts will confirm this. With A&E money she has purchased others to convey her same message. That she and half a dozen other “guns for hire” say the same thing does not make it true.
How come you permit A&E to carry such a single-sided monologue disparaging innocent people, all with the purpose of “brainwashing” them from their chosen faith?
If the roles were reversed—how would you like it done to you, your children or your grandchildren?
A principal discovered long ago in lands far away simply stated: What you do unto others gives others the power to do unto you. Karma. In short, you and the Disney empire have opened yourselves to a similar type of treatment, not by Scientologists as they don’t malign and disparage, but by others of lesser moral restraint.
I respectfully request that you look into this from a dispassionate perspective and a broader vision of the world that allows other views than yet another hateful assault on peaceful religious people.
Sincerely yours,
Matt Pearce
