Disney/A&E Brand Promoting False “Reality” Series

This is the second time now that I am writing to you in hopes that I can appeal to a sense of responsibility as a major media conglomerate with viewers everywhere. The Disney brand is one that carries with it a high standard which should not be compromised by carrying false and deceptive content.

Mr. Sherwood:

I read that you plan to allow A&E to carry Leah Remini’s hateful series Scientology and the Aftermath yet again. The Disney and A&E brand are being used by the producers of this false “reality” series and are directly contributing to hate which leads to acts of violence and breeds bigotry.

Allowing A&E to grant a venue for voices of hate is just plain wrong. Even the tabloid sensibility of reality TV should not provide license to those who prosper from lies and by fanning their flames of hate.

I have been a Scientologist for over 40 years and as such know hundreds of Scientologists throughout the world and am deeply familiar with the tenets and practices of this religion. This series is a direct contradiction to the most fundamental aspects of my religion and the lifestyles and actions of the people in it.

Please do not allow this to continue. Disney founders would be ashamed.
