MetroPCS advertising on the A&E/ Remini Hate TV show

I personally cannot and will not support a corporation, no matter how much I like their product, that lends its name and advertising dollars to a program that forwards hatred against my religion.

Dear Advertiser,

I am appealing to you as an advertiser on the A&E/Leah Remini TV show. I write to you with a great deal of concern that your support of that show is contributing to the climate of bigotry and hate in the U.S. today. I live in Washington, D.C., and I see firsthand how our country is being torn apart bit by bit every day by hatred and bigotry which has led to violence.

I have been a member of the Church of Scientology since 1969. This A&E show has incited some to physically attack our churches in different parts of the country and level death threats against members of my church. The free speech we treasure in our country comes with responsibility. TV is meant to entertain and inform, not to spread falsehoods and incite violence.

I personally cannot and will not support a corporation, no matter how much I like their product, that lends its name and advertising dollars to a program that forwards hatred against my religion.

I respectfully request that you cease your advertising support of this TV show.
