I feel it is important that anyone be allowed to have free choice to embrace their own religion, as they personally determine. If a person finds that their faith has been helpful to them and others they love, and made improvements in their life conditions, then that is the best test for what each person should have as their belief.

Ms. Orsi,
I am writing to you as both a parishioner of over 43 years in the Church of Scientology and as a real estate agent here in the Clearwater area for over 22 years.
I read the recent article in your paper about the Church and that some critics wrongly accuse members of not being able to have freedom to search the internet, or really do any other research they want to, that involves their life interests and what an individual might feel that they want to know more about.
In my work, and in all areas of my life, I have been very active on all communications mediums, including the Internet, social media, and reading the local newspapers. I wish to be informed about my community and the world around me so that I may be a better member of society. I have never had anyone with the Church tell me not to do any research I wanted to do in any area. In fact one of the principles of Scientology is to believe only what you feel is true to yourself, not anything that someone else would wish to try to enforce you to believe.
I feel it is important that anyone be allowed to have free choice to embrace their own religion, as they personally determine. If a person finds that their faith has been helpful to them and others they love, and made improvements in their life conditions, then that is the best test for what each person should have as their belief.
This has been the case for me in Scientology. Personal abilities, my relationships with family and others, as well as in the work I have done in real estate, have all improved. I have experienced great benefits through the application of the truths I have learned in the study of my religion.
I feel strongly that those who find their truth and faith should be allowed to embrace it so as to make theirs and others’ lives better.
Sincerely,
Kerry Fuller
Clearwater, Flo.
