Sprint—We Have a Right to Tolerance Without the Hate You Fund

Dear Sir,

I am a legal secretary currently living in the San Francisco area. I have been in the workforce for over 50 years. I have been a Scientologist for most of those years.

I believe I have the right to enjoy a peaceful life, free to practice my religion in harmony with my fellow man. I protest your support of this no-talent Leah Remini trying to disrupt our lives while she attempts to make a living spewing hate. (I knew her when she was a kid. She was an intolerable brat then and hasn’t changed since.) Just who does she think she is? I have watched Scientology grow. We span the globe, and we are millions strong, because we have found something worthwhile. It’s what the best of humanity does! They search for meaning and purpose in their lives, and when they find a worthwhile purpose and something that WORKS to help others, they latch onto it and don’t let go.

And then there are the Leah Reminis of the world, who don’t give a tinker’s damn about helping others and couldn’t do an honest day’s work to save their souls. This woman is evil personified. Who would even think of profiting from spreading lies about a group whose only aims are to free people of pain, suppression, illiteracy, and drug addiction? Scientology, when applied, changes people for the better. People whose purpose is to do evil, and who cannot or will not change, attack it.

When someone broadcasts lies about Italians or Jews, they have their anti-defamation societies to step in and protect their good names and reputations. I am grateful that STAND has been formed to protect Scientologists from evil-intentioned people…

What is even more mind-boggling is that anyone would sponsor such a person in her quest to attack a fine group of humanitarians. Is profit so all-important that it is gained at the expense of decent people? Ignorance helps evil. I am disgusted by this woman and I pity and despise those who lend her aid. She is nothing but a leech. Every time a commercial comes on about her sick excuse for a TV show, I turn off the TV to keep myself from putting a brick through it.

I am grateful that STAND has formed to protect Scientologists from evil-intentioned people, and I hope that together we can put this sorry excuse of an actor back in the breadlines where she belongs. Meanwhile, please withdraw your support for her and A&E.
