I would suggest a check of recent and past news stories which are a parable about people and organizations whose past conduct has come back to haunt them in later years … Short-term ratings can never compensate for long-term damage to reputation, credibility and self-respect.

Mr. Ben Sherwood
President Disney-ABC Television Group
Dear Mr. Sherwood,
Possibly someone at Disney is, by now, starting to grow a conscience. Maybe they are starting to get the idea that bullying, marginalizing, caricaturing, encouraging discrimination, prejudice and violence toward people who choose to study and practice Scientology is in no way artistic, and only entertaining to those who derive enjoyment from seeing people harmed. Possibly the audience for that show is starting to get the idea too. Who knows?
If not, I would suggest a check of recent and past news stories which are a parable about people and organizations whose past conduct has come back to haunt them in later years. People and organizations who are now discredited and marginalized themselves. Short-term ratings can never compensate for long-term damage to reputation, credibility and self-respect.
Scientology has survived every attempt to wipe it out, and by men and organizations of far more deadly intent than the Disney Corporation. It will survive your attempt as well. The question you may want to ask yourself is how you will look when it does. What will be the “aftermath” to your own repute?
Sincerely,
Rodger Clark
