Leah Remini’s program needs to end. All should be given the chance to find out about Scientology for themselves. They are owed and deserve that.

Mr. Sherwood,
Your programming featuring Leah Remini and her “views” on Scientology is forwarding religious intolerance and an unfounded dislike for a group that does a tremendous amount of good in the world.
This action of hating or making people hate a religion they know nothing about is very simply not okay.
Scientology has helped many, many, many people. Scientology has given people the tools to lead better, more productive lives and has helped people all over the world overcome the problems that are holding them back. It has also helped all sorts of families, children, addicts, people in need, those affected by natural disasters, and people who have been deprived of their human rights. We have helped parents whose children have been taken from them unjustly and locked away and electroshocked against their will in psychiatric facilities. We have helped create safer environments in dangerous gang areas by promoting The Way to Happiness. And the list goes on and on.
So, having a handful of people highlight their troubles on national television to back up some skewed viewpoint that Remini has (not to mention that she is now benefiting from monetarily), you are building a false barrier and could be ruining someone’s chance at getting the help they really need—maybe their only REAL chance.
Leah Remini’s program needs to end. All should be given the chance to find out about Scientology for themselves. They are owed and deserve that.
Thank you,
Emily Merritt
