I came across a Daily Mail article of 18 January, the same date as yours, which announced the storming of your sister organization, Newsweek, by two dozen NYPD and investigators from the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

Dear Ms. Caballero,
Having read your misinformed and skewed article about sexual assault allegations against Paul Haggis, and Leah Remini’s defense of him, I came to the conclusion that you must be the one person who does not read media.
To help: On 17 January, the day before your article was published, The Hollywood Reporter carried an open letter written by one of Haggis’s sexual assault victims explaining why she was speaking out, while remaining anonymous. In her letter she stated: “I have no connection with Scientology or its parishioners. For those people—including actress Leah Remini—who have publicly stated that all of Haggis’s accusers are part of a Scientology conspiracy, shame on you.”
Why you have to stick Leah Remini’s lie in your opening paragraph begs a number of questions, none of which I will answer other than to note that unlike you, I do read the media. I came across a Daily Mail article of 18 January, the same date as yours, which announced the storming of your sister organization, Newsweek, by two dozen NYPD and investigators from the Manhattan district attorney’s office.
I recommend that you get your own house in order before defaming others with allegations from a proven noncredible source.
Sincerely,
Edward Parkin
