The Hollywood Reporter
Dear Mr. Belloni,
Your reporter Frank Scheck just wrote a reprehensible piece on what for the majority of news carriers was an important announcement and major development for my religion of over 45 years—Scientology.
He casts aside the groundbreaking development by diving into the sewer of his own cynical mind and goes from one mischaracterization to another spewing aspersion in an effort to appear clever or humorous to I know not who.
He jumps from denigrating the ecclesiastical leader of my religion to diminishing well-documented and highly regarded community efforts to help gang members and former gang members in Los Angeles and casting the effort as something to the effect “providing water on street corners.” What a jerk. Who does that? And how did you, as the editor, even think that it was okay as the editor.
Scheck even trashes the noteworthy careers of those highlighted in some of content on the new channel.
This reporting is appalling and shame on him for taking such cheap shots in the Hollywood Reporter. Do you actually agree with this trashy reporting or did you just get blindsided?
I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Keith Miller
