Editor Christian Post
Dear Dr. Land:
Of all the publications in the world who would speak ill of the Church of Scientology launching its own television station, it should not have to be yours. It is quite remarkable that you would slander this launch.
I would have expected it to be a trash gossip magazine, not the Christian Post. And to try to “hide” behind the trickery of reporting only what other media wrote doesn’t absolve you from your bigotry.
What would you like me to tell my Christian friends? Should I share with them your unchristian and irreligious attitude toward Scientologists?
I am pretty certain they would be appalled.
Did you even watch Scientology.tv?
Possibly in the eyes of the Almighty it is quite alright for members of one religion to trash the members of another. On this same basis maybe it was correct for Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver—in the same way that Leah Remini now betrays her former religion for a great deal more money. But somehow, I don’t think so.
From this end I will inform every upstanding Christian I know, and there are many, that your conduct is a betrayal of them and the basic beliefs and tenets of Christianity.
That said, I recommend you review your policies in how you treat other people of faith.
Sincerely,
Edward Parkin
