When was the last time your reporter Lloyd Grove helped victims of natural disasters, helped save a marriage or gave someone the confidence to go in the direction of their dreams and live the life they imagine? I sincerely doubt that he ever did.

Dear Mr. Avlon,
If your reporter Lloyd Grove lived during the time of the Spanish Inquisition I am sure he would have been very supportive of persecution and prosecution of individuals accused of committing offenses relating to heresy, including Protestantism and in favor of the censorship of “heretical” printed literature.
Galileo’s championing of Heliocentrism (the sun NOT the earth as the center of the solar system) was investigated by the Inquisition in 1615. It concluded that heliocentrism was “foolish and absurd” in philosophy, and formally heretical since it explicitly contradicts in many places the sense of Holy Scripture. Galileo was admonished for his views and spent the remainder of his life under house arrest.
Lloyd Grove’s article reflects someone who is bigoted, uninformed and arrogant. He seeks to mock the millions of Scientologists who work to improve the quality of life for people across the globe.
My residing question is: When was the last time Lloyd Grove helped victims of natural disasters, helped save a marriage or gave someone the confidence to go in the direction of their dreams and live the life they imagine? I sincerely doubt that he ever did.
These are the kinds of things Scientology and Scientologists do every day on all continents.
Reading his article, which is a total corruption of the truth, is one reason we have our own TV station. We can deliver the truth of our intentions, our actions and our results without media corruption.
Many are flooding into our Churches for the first time to find out what Scientology really is—for themselves. It is fabulous.
Sincerely,
Bernard Percy
