Dear Sir,
This concerns your company advertising on the A&E network which is currently devoted to programming intended to destroy religious belief and practice in our country.
In the 1950s—when my two brothers and I were watching Disneyland and the Mickey Mouse Club on a black and white TV bought with Christmas money—L. Ron Hubbard wrote Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health and then founded the Scientology religion.
Scientology—my religion since 1975—treats Mankind as individual spiritual beings, not as a soulless stimulus-response machine, which has become the default belief in much of today’s world. Today the Church of Scientology is a voice of reason in a society going down the drain of addiction, psychiatric brutality and so-called “mental health” treatments that result in suicide, mass shootings and more than one in six Americans on psychiatric medications.
I have been a Dianetics counselor since 1981, helping people to reduce and erase the unwanted effects of pain and loss, overcoming molestation, PTSD, a violent home life, depression and more.
Recently I discovered that the Disney organization, via A&E Networks, which brought such happiness into my family as a child, is hosting attacks on Scientology. A&E, for example, carries Leah Remini’s bigoted anti-religious smear campaign against my Church.
As an advertiser, you can make a difference. Please do not continue to support, sponsor or credit A&E’s Remini program as anything more than what it is: hate speech.
Perhaps you are curious about Scientology and have wondered about the stuff Remini and her collaborators preach. If so, please check out “the rest of the story” on Scientology.tv and withdraw your support from Disney, A&E and the Remini smear campaign.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
Best regards,
Wayne Hanson
