My point here is that a show like this cannot survive without the dollars given to it for advertising. My appeal is to your higher self: please find something inspirational to support and you’ll contribute to uplifting the community and yourself.

Dear Sir,
I wanted to express my distress, distaste and outright revulsion that your company would support a TV show whose entire purpose is to spread false rumors, lies and encourage acts of violence against my religion, Scientology. To further add to my outrage, I understand that Leah Remini will now be including other religions in her hate-mongering in this, her 3rd season.
When I found out which companies paid for the advertising for her 2nd session, I immediately stopped dealing with them and encouraged others to do the same. This included changing my insurance policy. I imagine that you buy blocks of ads from A&E and they place them wherever they choose, so please let them know that you don’t want to be part of her series. If they can’t guarantee that, I recommend that you work with more honorable networks such as NBC who fired Roseanne Barr. I’m sure you know that story.
Just a note on my personal experience with such bigotry inspired by negative and false rumors spread on media. I was once eliminated from a job opportunity due to my membership in Scientology, I have had people say venomous things to me while I was out selling Dianetics books. They don’t even know me—I’ve been called evil, from the devil, and other such outrageous things. Where do you think they get these ideas from? How would you like that? I’ve also seen destructive acts against my church totally unprovoked. A guy drove up, parked, got out a club, walked up to the front of the church and broke a window. This was not just an ordinary window. Our church is on the registry of our city as an historical monument and is beautifully restored by the parishioners to maintain the value of the building as part of the history of this community. This was actually caught on a security camera. Why would someone do that? A seed had to be planted. This destruction affected the entire community.
So my point here is that a show like this cannot survive without the dollars given to it for advertising. My appeal is to your higher self: please find something inspirational to support and you’ll contribute to uplifting the community and yourself.
Most sincerely,
