Dear Katy,
I read Matt Jacobs’ latest article in yesterday’s Huffington Post about Raul Castillo. Why Jacobs had to once again seek to malign the Church of Scientology in the process is quite beyond me.
I understand that he is, in his own words, “obsessed with Scientology,” but his obsession would be better satisfied finding out what it is and not just casting needless and baseless aspersions.
The “forced manual labor claim” he throws out was dismissed from court and costs of over $40,000 awarded to the Church when raised many years ago. Even then the plaintiffs appealed, but that too was summarily dismissed and the costs award upheld.
Jacobs has written a dozen or so articles about the Scientology religion or referencing us over the past few years. Please direct him to Scientology.tv to get his questions answered and to gain some depth of understanding in the subject—for which he appears to have a fascination. It beats the gossip and misinformation.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Blair
