Auditing is a sacred religious practice of Scientology. The goal of auditing is to restore beingness and ability. This is accomplished by: (1) helping individuals rid themselves of any spiritual disabilities; (2) increasing spiritual abilities.

Dear Mr. Scarry,
While I understand your analysis of the parallels between certain media and the democratic politicians and their stance vis a vis Prof. Christine Blasey Ford’s accusations against Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh, why you threw in a baseless comment about Scientology religious counseling—auditing—is disconcerting.
Auditing is a sacred religious practice of Scientology. The goal of auditing is to restore beingness and ability. This is accomplished by: (1) helping individuals rid themselves of any spiritual disabilities; (2) increasing spiritual abilities.
The above has nothing to do with politics.
Please restrain from speaking ill about any religion—mine or any other. Disparagement of them benefits no one.
