Dear Mr. Agbayani,
I read your 10 documentaries to binge-watch on Netflix in CNN Philippines, and have just one question: how many Churches of Scientology have you been to?
I would be willing to wager that you never set foot in one.
And that would put you in sync with Alex Gibney, the maker of the travesty against human rights you laud in your article. He never once set foot in any Church of Scientology either, and to cap that he never spoke to a single Scientologist, not even once!
So his complete ignorance you now repeat, and yet you represent your assertion as truth to your readership, most of whom do not know better as they too have never set foot in a Church of Scientology.
We have a deeply held tenet in Scientology. It comes from a text written by our Founder, L. Ron Hubbard, PERSONAL INTEGRITY:
What is true for you is what you have observed yourself. And when you lose that, you have lost everything.
Nothing in Scientology is true for you unless you have observed it and it is true according to your observation.
This very sane principle steers Scientologists well, counsels each to observe personally rather than merely accept another’s word blindly and without personal inspection.
I respect your publication’s right to freedom of speech. However, gratuitous, inflammatory and false comments do nothing other than show ignorance and disdain toward people of faith.
Please find out what Scientology is and does from an accurate source: www.scientology.org/how-we-help.html, www.scientology.org.
Sincerely,
Edward Parkin
