I see it is trendy to trash things one does not know or understand. The only right an elevated voice really has is to find out about new subjects, to look, search, become inquisitive about and possibly learn something new. And then from that viewpoint share the knowledge.

The John and Ken Show
KFI AM Radio Station
Dear John and Ken,
As the International Director of Scientologists Taking Action Against Discrimination (STAND) I was contacted by a parishioner who heard the show where you made offensive statements about our religion, Scientology. He was quite upset.
The show in question was on or about March 29, 2019. The words used were epithets and attempts to assassinate the character of nameless people—all “Scientologists” in general. I am at a loss as to your purpose in doing this.
Many Scientologists live and work in and around Los Angeles. Many more live and work in almost all parts of this country and I know that some listen to KFI. They are not alone in being offended by any form of anti-religious hate-speech.
I see it is trendy to trash things one does not know or understand. The only right an elevated voice really has is to find out about new subjects, to look, search, become inquisitive about and possibly learn something new. And then from that viewpoint share the knowledge.
I raise this as you have a wide listenership and it may behoove us all for you to get to know us.
There are two sides to every story. Our side is on DIRECTV Channel 320. I recommend you take the time to watch our rich and diverse programming there, and welcome hearing from you about it.
Sincerely,
Edward Parkin
International Director STAND
