Dear Editor,
It seems that some people latch onto the loss of others for exploitation and to broadcast their vehement stupidity.
Such is the latest religious hate being perpetrated by a certain blogger surrounding a tragic suicide. This blogger quoted an “anonymous source” who suggested a young man had mentioned Scientology in a negative way prior to taking his own life.
This blogger totally fabricated and promoted that the reason for this suicide was a familial connection to Scientology. Totally incorrect, no proof and blatant bigotry.
So this anti-Scientology blogger has desecrated Scientology, Scientologists and a religion as a whole in some kind of punk fashion for probably what amounts to a spot in the limelight and a few bucks. It just disgusts me that this poor excuse for a human being is allowed to spread his lies and deceit.
If someone born into any other religion commits suicide you may hear about them tragically taking their own life. You NEVER hear it suggested or implied that being a Catholic, Protestant, Lutheran or Mormon was “the cause.”
And what’s worse is you are giving Tony Ortega a platform to uphold his hate, bigotry and slander of me, a Scientologist and Scientology parent, and the Scientology religion.
This guy doesn’t have a clue.
