I respectfully request that you inform the vendor that supplies magazines to Pavilions that if there are cover stories that discriminate or pour bigotry against ANY religious group or any group at all, that those magazines be refused and returned from whence they came.

Dear Sir,
I shop pretty regularly at the Vine Street Pavilions Store and have had nothing but good service and good experiences with store personnel for a long time.
This evening while shopping I noticed a magazine (Star) with derogatory statements about my religion. I have been a Scientologist for 46 years. The negative statements about my religion as well as the lies promoted about one Scientologist’s private life are not what I am accustomed to dealing with at Pavilions. Those lies express bigotry.
I brought this to the attention of Ms. Mariana Mendoza and she agreed that her store staff do not promote religious bigotry or religious hatred.
Yet Pavilions is nonetheless promoting this message of hatred via that gossip mag on their shelves.
I respectfully request that you inform the vendor that supplies magazines to Pavilions that if there are cover stories that discriminate or pour bigotry against ANY religion group or any group at all, that those magazines be refused and returned from whence they came.
I am a member of STAND (Scientologists Taking Action Against Discrimination—www.standleague.org) and we take offense to discrimination OF ANY KIND. Discrimination does the world no good at all. We are stamping it out.
Thank you for reading my comments. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Caralyn Percy
