Dear Mr. James,
It’s truly remarkable that you would expose yourself on network television as someone who promotes religious bigotry, as you did on the 30th when you mentioned your favorite podcast.
“Fair Game” spews misinformation and bigotry and foments discrimination, hatred and violence against my religion—a religion with millions of members worldwide.
That’s your favorite?
The hate speech promoted by this podcast’s host has resulted in 600 threats and acts of violence against the Church and Scientologists, including threats to assassinate the leader of our religion, bomb threats and acts of criminal assault, vandalism, arson and other violence.
On the podcast, Leah Remini refers to me and my fellow Scientologists as “f—king idiots” “motherf—kers” and “schmucks” and says my beliefs are “full of sh—.”
This is the podcast you have now promoted and recommended to your viewers.
If you instead used your platform to renounce discrimination and bigotry, it would be a far greater service to your listeners.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Sincerely,
John Pantermuehl
