ABC daytime host Tamron Hall featured antireligious campaigner Leah Remini on her October 2 morning show, introducing Remini’s “crusade” against the Scientology religion and praising the famously bigoted former actress.
Leah Remini’s discrimination and hate speech has contributed to more than 600 documented threats and acts of violence against Scientologists, the Church of Scientology and its ecclesiastical leader.
One individual, inflamed by Remini’s hate rhetoric, emailed the Church of Scientology with the following message: “You should all terminate yourselves. Or come to my neighborhood and let me do it for you.”

In what appeared to be a paid-for promotional statement after Hall’s interview with Leah Remini, Hall encouraged viewers to listen to a podcast in which Remini refers to members of the Scientology religion as “motherf—kers” “f—king idiots” and “schmucks,” asserting their beliefs are “full of sh—.”
“It is unacceptable that Tamron Hall would promote a hate campaigner against any religion—anti-Scientology is anti-Scientology, anti-Semitism is anti-Semitism, Islamophobia is Islamophobia and discrimination is discrimination. Enough is enough,” said STAND National Director Bari Berger. “Hall is apparently one of the few public figures left who believes there is a place for blatant bigotry in mainstream media today.”
