I would tell you that it is a free country and you and all other supporters and members of the Church of the Subgenius are entitled to a sense of humor, but you already know that and are already exercising those rights and freedoms.

In what world is it acceptable to start off an article with the slur that the name of a global religion “leaves a poor taste in some people’s mouths”? In the small worlds of certain bigots, apparently.
MEDIA WATCH
There can only be one reason why we have not heard back from you. Bigotry. With your silence, you have confirmed you intend to provide a platform for hate and hate speech because “The Real” gives lip service to diversity, equity and inclusion, but the willingness stops there.
MEDIA WATCH
Like the authors of anti-Semitic propaganda in the 1930s and 40s, Andrew attempts to depict a global religion and its members as some nefarious, scheming force, and plays on long-discredited anti-Scientology tropes.

On behalf of Scientologists Taking Action Against Discrimination, I write to express our profound disgust at the marginalizing, ignorant, bigoted jargon you employ in your article “The Vow Recap: Maybe You Should Talk to Someone.”
MEDIA WATCH
While the bulk of our nation has spent the last several months making clear discrimination of any kind has no home in America today, you do not seem to have been following the news.
MEDIA WATCH
Do not use my religion or the name of my religion to make a negative, derogatory comparison. The subject of comparison is irrelevant. The gratuitous snarky comparison is what I’m talking about. It utterly mischaracterizes my religion and its name and, in the process, damages the credibility of your journalism. It betrays the writer’s ignorance and bigotry.
MEDIA WATCH
It’s truly remarkable that you would expose yourself on network television as someone who promotes religious bigotry, as you did on the 30th when you mentioned your favorite podcast.
MEDIA WATCH
As a black man and Scientologist of over 40 years, I am familiar with bigots like Marlette. Rather than gaining an even cursory understanding of the topic at hand, the bigot forms opinions based on God knows what and then clings to them for dear life, while proclaiming falsehoods over and over like a badly scratched CD.
MEDIA WATCH
Nice of you to note the heroic work of Riverdale actress Marisol Nichols, who is actually doing something about sex trafficking. Pity you felt you had to resort to trying to shame her for her religious beliefs in the process.
