RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
It has been said that if one person told someone about something, and then the next day that second person told someone else, and then they each told someone else—just one person sharing that thing with another person every day—then within six years every person in the world would know about it.
COMBATING BIGOTRY & HATE
Who cares if Brian Williams is a stone cold liar? Do we really care about honest journalism? It’s boring to watch all these talking heads spewing out actual facts and reporting honest news. Give me my DVR, give me my Slingbox, give me my PlayStation, give me fake news! Give me fake news, not facts.
TOLERANCE
When I was in my teens I could cruise any major street in Southern California and stop for a hamburger. Now I can stop for Mexican food, Middle Eastern food, Chinese food, sushi, Indian food, Thai food, Italian food, vegan food ... or I can have a hamburger.
TOLERANCE
I was raised Jewish, and I remember going to temple and reading from the Torah when I was 11. Unfortunately, I could read the Hebrew symbols, but had no concept of what those sounds meant. So I gave up studying the Torah.
COMBATING BIGOTRY & HATE
When I was in third grade, I had a teacher who despised me. It wasn't because of anything I'd done to her, and it wasn't that I was a difficult student. In fact, I loved learning, was an avid reader, and was pretty social, so school was a perfect fit. Except for Mrs. Goldwitch.

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
I was told many times growing up that I needed to use a little judgment. This was usually after I had brought about a disaster by not really evaluating what would happen if I did what I was about to do.
SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION
It’s fine if you object, but at least know what it is you’re objecting to. As a Scientologist of 36 years, I’ve read and heard things from others about my religion that left me scratching my head in wonder. I am referring to some of the weird ideas people get.
COMBATING BIGOTRY & HATE
I recall an incident from many years ago where a couple of misguided radio personalities in my city decided it would be a good idea to disrupt a Muslim prayer service. Bad idea all around. The good thing was that the people of Denver condemned this forcefully.
COMBATING BIGOTRY & HATE
There is no other way to put this: If you believe and repeat the corporate-owned media narrative on Scientology (and pretty much anything else), you are ignorant. Sorry. You just might be an Urban Redneck.
